京都生まれ。

京都教育大学美術学科卒業、後渡仏。

MJM graphic designでディスプレイデザインを学ぶ。

京都府陶工高等技術専門校成形科修了。

手のひらに収まる小さな器から、私たちを包み込む空間という器まで。

テーブルウェアからはじまる空間づくりの提案をコンセプトに活動を続けている。

Yoshimi Azuma

Born in Kyoto, Japan

Graduated Kyoto University of Education, with a major in ceramic

Completion MJM graphic design (PARIS), with a major in space design

Graduated potter high technical college of kyoto prefecture, with a major in make of porcelain 

Using clay as a material, I create everything from a bowl that fits in hand to the space where we live in. I continue to work on the concept of creating a space starting with tableware. I believe that the bowl are objects that are the most familiar and can touch in everyday life .

2008年 スイスLavoratoir Village Nomadoにて滞在制作を行う　
2008年「silent shadows」スイスにてグループ展
2009年 京都にて独立、開窯。   
2011年 「Origin The Contemporary Craft Fair 2011」イギリス・ロンドンにて出展 
2011年 「京都工芸ビエンナーレ 2011」に出展 
2015年 フランス・カーンにて滞在制作を行う
2015年 「Where are the temples」Abbaye aux Dames a Cane フランス・カー ンにてグループ展
2019年 「碗わんone」橋本関雪記念館にてグループ展
2022年 アイスランド・スカガストロンド　NES Artist Residencyにて滞在制作を行う

2023年 ”skagastorond" LISN京都、青山にて2人展

        年数回、京都・大阪・東京など各地で個展を行う。
